The driving force behind Westbound and its concept, Sarah is our fearless leader. She's spent the entirety of the last two years developing Westbound from the ground up, pouring over every detail of the Westbound brand, from location to staff to design and everything in between. Her childhood dream occupation was to be a Marine Biologist, which perhaps explains the knack for keeping her head above water in the sea of responsibilities that come along with opening a place from the ground up. Fun fact: her very first concert was Boyz II Men when she was 12, which might explain Westbound's nostalgic R&B heavy playlist.
Eatery & bar with train-style booths, swank travel-inspired drinks & a playful small plates menu.
In 1893, the Santa Fe Railway’s La Grande Station opened its doors welcoming travelers to a city of opportunity and innovation. With its red brick construction, Moorish dome, and exotic gardens, the station exhibited all the promise that California could offer. In its 46 years as the main Santa Fe terminal, the La Grande Station embodied cultural diversity, adventurous design, and the pursuit of something greater.
On the grounds of the original La Grande Station, Westbound serves cross-cultured craft cocktails and fresh, seasonal small bites in an environment inspired by luxury railcars of past & present. Sit back and unwind, meet old friends and make new ones, and revel in the mystery of your next destination.
